The
narrator informs us that no trip to Santaland would be, complete,
without a tour, of the Village Toy Shop. Yep, all of Santa's
attractions feed into a gift shop sooner or later. You can't
escape that nowadays.

Actually,
it turns out Santa has taken the kids to the exciting and
mysterious House On The Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin, just
minutes from the Dells! Here they look at all the crazy crap
the whacked-out millionaire architect had collected and put
on display.
(My
god, I love the House On The Rock. It's best viewed early
in the morning when you're completely sleep-deprived and unprepared
for what's to come. The damn tour takes literally four hours
and there's beer sold in the middle. THANK HEAVENS FOR
THAT. But I digress.)

Here
we see some of the dolls that tried to bite large chunks out
of Barbarella's flesh. They winter in style, don't they?
NARRATOR: Here
the little girls; Dolls are dressed with fine and fancy
stitch.

NARRATOR:
Every doll must have a head. And also, have a body. These
busy elves, on spinning lathes, turn out, the long, thin,
bodies. While others paint, their saucy faces, and put them,
all together.

NARRATOR:
Hard-working elves, and Santa too, like pies, and cakes,
and cookies. This little store, delights in making all those
yum-yum goodies.
I'd
like to imagine the narrator got extra pay for being able
to say the line "yum-yum goodies" and not break
up. Who knows? Maybe it took him fifteen takes and was the
costliest reading of the entire production. But on the other
hand the narrator gets much, much more lucid, as we'll soon
see...
