And with the last shot on my roll, I was back where I started nearly eight hours before. It's hard to believe this picture and the first (conveniently located on the 'next' link) were taken on the same roll of film on the same day. I marvelled at my coasterless luck -- heck, at least I'd gotten to Coney Island safely and my car was waiting for my return, too -- and with a lump in m'throat I bade the Cyclone farewell.

I'd return in 2003, though, with a fresh roll of film.
