the disposable project pt. 1



Coney Island. New York. April 9, 2000.

Woody Allen used the house under the Thunderbolt's far turn (conveniently not shown in this picture) in Annie Hall. Legend has it the back seat of the Thunderbolt in its later, declining years was actually a bale of hay. The structure itself isn't burnt; that's just what nearly 20 years of decline does to you. There were still light bulbs in the beautiful light fixtures on the turnarounds. While this may not have been one of John Miller's greater creations, it certainly would have been worth saving, or recreating.

And the fence. More fence.
