Here we have another instance of the Laffent influence (the company not so fond of this strip) and a very very very very small injoke. In this case, the strip was supposed to have been written by a man named Howard Beale. And no, you weren't supposed to get that. It was just put in there to be funny for me. Sorry I didn't leave any for you. I was feeling kinda selfish that week.

But the John Rocker smurf got me high marks from certain people online, most notably the girl who called herself Purple Smurf. Sometimes you can mine a little gem out of something.
