I
love this strip. I loved writing it and I loved the commercial feel
of it and I love the internal rhymes in Russell's songs and the note
of disdain and disgust from Tom Lehrer. All in all a very good effort.
Mark Russell, and the Capitol Steps for that matter, have been Washington
institutions for aeons now and nobody can really figure out why they
still are. And when was the last time Forbidden Broadway did anything
edgy and new, anyway?
