While
extremely verbose and cluttered with small text, the writing in the
strip is as rewarding to read as it was to make. It makes a great
centerpiece for any comic-related occasion, and it's all the more
significant to me because I made it myself. You may want to accentuate
your version with a patterned background, or some tasteful stencilwork
around the panels. Or you can keep it simple -- it's a good thing.
On
a historical note, since I did try to "satirize the current events
of the day in sequential form", Martha Stewart moved out of her
suburban Long Island enclave (at least I think it was Long Island)
in April of 2000 amid stories that the neighbors just couldn't stand
her. And who could blame them?
