In panel order, that's Karen and Richard Carpenter, Debby Boone, Christopher Cross, and Milli Vanilli, all of whom thought they'd be immortal and invulnerable after winning that Best New Artist Grammy. I do admit that the Carpenters actually did enjoy much more commercial success than the others after winning, but Karen did meet a tragic end so the Curse lives on.)
